BY ZOMBIE ED

It's the summer of 2012 and simply for one day at Frightfest, the Saturday that is, Terror4fun whored itself around letting people know what was in store, and the awesome Ian Rattray allowed Terror4fun to come along to Frightfest and see if anyone who hadn't already wanted to sign up to recieve the Zombie Times E-Zine... It all started very nicely and people signed up in droves and then it all ended stickily when a couple of my idols arrived and I had my first proper fan-gasm... I had heard of them, but was not sure if people faked them, until now... Throughout the day we met various people including people already signed up, nazi zombies from OUTPOST II Black Sun, Michael Myers, folks from Haunted Magazine and simply tonnes of really sound people...

We were getting people to sign up through two tried and tested mediums, the first sweets and the second soft porn... No, I was not threatening to do my little naked zombie dance if folks did not sign up, me and Sam were simply giving folks the chance to win a Jenna Jameson signed Zombie Stripper Poster if they did sign up... and 3 winners were found and then one was donated to a charity, Yes, you know who you are... Below are the lucky winners, some more impressed than others...

Later, things got slightly more surreal, Greg Nicotero arrived and I managed to have a chat and grab a photo with him, leaving me stunned and thoroughly amazed to be quite honest and then after eating Frightfest co-director Greg Day and meeting with DEAD HOOKER IN TRUNK stars, writers and directors the Soska Sisters...

Finally, Greg and Simon Pegg, YES, Simon Pegg took to the Media Wall to do TV interviews and I managed to grab a couple of snaps before disappearing into the night... I did resist the urge to fall to my knees and shout we're not worthy, but a couple of fans next to me could not resist having two legends so close together....

We simply cannot wait until next year...

Thanks to Ian, Greg Paul and, of course, Alan...
